Bio
Judge Ransom was an honors graduate of Flint Junior College, moving on to graduate cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Adrian College, and a J.D. degree from Detroit College of Law. In 2003, Adrian College awarded him an honorary Doctor of Law degree for his career accomplishments. In 1962, Bob began practicing law with his father. He became the first full time faculty of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1973. In 1977 he was appointed to the Genesee County Circuit Court by Governor Milliken.
