Bio

Clif graduated from Benton Harbor Community College with an associates degree, moving on to graduate from Hillsdale College with a bachelors degree in the Arts where he played basketball and ran cross country and track, he then moved on to graduate from University of Michigan with a masters degree in the Arts in Education Administration. Clif became an English teacher at Flint Central High School, while also having the honor of being the first Black high school coach in Flint’s history. He coached varsity basketball, and varsity track. Clif became the Director of Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics for the Flint Board of Education and the Assistant Principal for Flint Southwestern Academy. In 2005 Mr Turner was inducted into the Greater Flint African-American Sports Hall of Fame.
