FLINT - The Mott Community College baseball team closed the regular season with a four-game sweep of Schoolcraft College to secure a postseason berth.
The Bears opened the series with a doubleheader sweep at home, 15-5 and 5-3, on Thursday. Mott closed out the regular season with two wins at the Corner Ballpark in Detroit on Saturday, 11-3 and 15-7.
The results close the regular season for Mott with a record of 17-20 overall and 15-10 in the MCCAA. The Bears move on to the NJCAA Region XII Championship Opening Round. Mott will play a best-of-three series against Macomb Community College starting at 1 pm on Thursday in Warren, Mich.
