Bio
Coach Terry Warner is in his fourth year as Head Softball Coach at Mott. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Coach for four years with the Bears.

In his three years as Mott’s Head Coach, his teams have won two league titles and one district crown. Last year, his team qualified for NJCAA National Tournament, making Mott one of just 20 schools in the nation to reach that level. At that National tourney, held in Alabama, Mott won once and lost two close contests. Coach Warner’s overall record during his three-year tenure as Head Coach is 99-46, including a sparkling 40-11 mark last year.

Before coming to Mott, Coach Warner coached over 30 seasons of softball and basketball. As varsity softball coach at LakeVille, his three-year record was 75-32 with one league title (18-0) and two district crowns. Coach Warner has also coached several travel teams (FireStix, Compuware, Adrenaline, Lookouts).

Terry has been married to his wife, Gene, for 36 years. Their oldest daughter, Megan, played softball at Mott and their youngest daughter, Mallory, played at Aquinas. Terry and Gene have three grandchildren (Brooklyn 11, Hunter 9 and Warner 2) with a fourth grandkid expected in March.
